The Creative Process: From Idea to Sketch to Reality

CORINNE

The Corinne was born one night in St. Barth’s. I walked into a charity gala and overheard women wishing their breathtaking gowns could live beyond that single evening. It felt like such a waste—luxury should travel with you, not stay locked away.

I wanted a real showstopper: something that stops hearts, turns heads, yet feels effortless enough to wear again and again. That vivid fuchsia came straight from a Caribbean sunset. I sketched tiny hand-drawn flowers and birds, scattered them across ripped raw edges and soft ruffles.

Elastic in the front, back, and straps so it fits every body beautifully—comfortable, confident, romantic. The silk flows like water; the details catch light just right.

From those quick sketches in Paris, our artisans breathed it to life with careful hands. Now the Corinne isn’t just for galas—it’s for rooftop dinners, beach sunsets, or any day that deserves a little magic.

Because the best love stories don’t end after one night. They keep moving with you.

ANTIBES

The Antibes came to me one afternoon poolside at my house in the hills. The pool water had turned this deep, almost unreal mint green under the California sun, and the flowers around it glowed with warm, living color. That quiet contrast—cool serenity meeting soft heat—stayed with me.

I sketched it right there on the lounge chair: pure silk in that rare mint, layered with burnt-out fabric that lets delicate floral patterns breathe through like sea mist. Ruffles and panels drift in every direction, creating a slender, flattering shape that moves gently. It’s one of the most challenging pieces we make—every layer takes real patience—but that’s what makes it feel almost magical.

Hidden side zipper and discreet hook for a smooth, secure fit. The mint glows softly against the skin; the burnt-out details catch light like water at golden hour.

Our Paris artisans brought those quick sketches to life with careful hands. Now the Antibes travels from the hills of Los Angeles  to Monaco and everywhere in between.

Wear it when you want to glow and stand out like never before.

SHAILIN

The Shailin dress came from one of those clean Paris afternoons—Tuileries light sharp and easy, quick drink at the Ritz on Vendôme. That no-fuss vibe carried straight to the sketch.

Direct lines: short, feather-light viscose in soft skin-tone shades that drape fluid and forgiving. Softly plunging V-neck that feels alive without trying. Gentle waist seam for shape. Cascading ruffles that spill easy, catching air with every step. Elastic waistband inside, cinched by a hand-tied tassel string—adjust it once, perfect fit locked in.

Walking those gardens, I saw centuries of women owning the paths: 1600s to 1800s court drama, bold pomp, flowing silks heavy with elaborate detail. I pulled that unapologetic elegance, stripped it clean, and fused it with raw bohemian charm—carefree, romantic, but with real presence.

Over 20 hours of handwork in the Paris atelier: ruffles set soft and even by hand, elastic threaded precise, tassel cords finished clean. Built to move, built to last.

It’s pure Strawberry Paris—quiet luxury, delicate femininity, endlessly wearable. Throw it on for sunlit mornings or golden-hour evenings. Feels like effortless elegance you didn’t have to chase. Best designs start from days that just line up right.
